You will find the Under the Sea meditation for kids which is often featured as a “staff pick” for parents. I know you will enjoy sharing this meditation with your children. It invites movement and imagination while supporting the nervous system into a relaxed state.

 

The Under the Sea Meditation is a fun guided meditation for your children, which relates sea creatures and the ocean to feelings and emotions, helping promote calm, safety and relaxation. Feel calm and connected to your whole self after embodying the swaying seaweed. Welcome a range of sea creatures into your protection. Help them feel safe.

 

The Animal Body Scan Meditation, help your child relax as I hold this space for you to feel at home in your body with curiosity and playfulness. Your child will be invited to use their imagination; feel your luxurious mane like a Lion, Your nose like an elephant, your neck like a giraffe, your chest like a gorilla, your arms like a koala, your hips like a hippo, your legs like a grasshopper and your feet like a duck.

 

Ten Embodied Breaths This is a short, centering exercise to feel the sensations of embodied breath. The mediation is suitable for adults and teens. Use this practice throughout your day to balance the mind-body connection. For the next few minutes, we are going to pay loving attention to ten slow, deep and embodying breaths. When you become aware of the sensations of your breath, it allows you to become sensitive to the emotions within your body. Allow a moment to pause and reflect on your experience. Embody Hope and Joy.

 

Words Of Affirmation To Share With Your Family This meditation is a great activity to share with your family to embody, hope and joy. The more we affirm ourselves and each other the stronger and deeper the connection we embody. There is no greater feeling than to feel “seen.”

In 2012, I began my journey to prioritise self-care. As a mother of two young children, I began to realise the valuable lesson of applying my own oxygen mask first.

I have fallen in love with my meditation practices and hope to help people discover and Embody their own Hope and Joy. It is my wish to help you create a meditation practice you can fall in love with and make time for.

I am passionate about helping people feel safe in their bodies by guiding and supporting a deeply nourishing meditation practice. As a certified Yoga teacher, Kids Yoga teacher and Meditation Coach I offer a unique approach to the embodiment of the meditation practice through inviting movement, self-exploration and acceptance.

Using language which is invitational and setting the scene with storytelling, I focus on encouraging the feeling of being safe in practice; linking to and accepting all emotions. I specialise in offering personalised guided meditations and delivering them with kindness and acceptance.

I enjoy holding sacred space so my clients have an opportunity to befriend themselves, to feel calm, connected and safe. Learning meditation at any age will develop better understanding of inner self and support better selfcare practices for life.
